Dear Families,
We are studying Geometry in math and students had some time to explore various manipulatives this week to see these concepts in real life. We used pattern blocks and geoboards to make angles, quadrilaterals, types of lines and triangles. Students were surprised how many geometric figures they found in their creations! Be on the look out with your child at home for different types of geometry in every day life!
Above are also some pictures from peer editing time as students wrap up their informational books and get ready to publish!
