Sorry for the delay in weekly updates! Hopefully this update is able to catch you up on the happenings in 4th grade since break. We have been rocking and rolling with lots of learning! Here's an update...
Reminders-
Snow Gear-The weather is constantly changing....please remind your child to bring all of their winter gear each day. Daily students need...gloves, hat, boots, snow pants, and coats.
In Class "Auction" this Friday-We are doing an auction with wow tickets, that students earn for positive behavior, this Friday. If you would like to donate items/candy/prizes please send in with your child. Students will have a chance to bid on items with their tickets and a variety of items makes this lots of fun. We take anything for the auction, so if you have extra items that 4th graders may enjoy, please donate this week!

What have you enjoyed learning about in Science?
What was it like sharing your opinion essay with the class?
How is reading non-fiction books different from fiction?
How are you doing with your personal goal for 2018?
What we learned last week-
Reading-
I can identify Nonfiction text features.
I can paraphrase Nonfiction text.
I can identify the main idea in a nonfiction text.
Writing-
I can share my personal opinion essay.
I can identify the features of a Literary essay.
Science-
I can explore the internal and external structures that support an animals growth/survival/and reproduction.
Math-
I can identify factor pairs.
I can determine prime and composite numbers.
