Dear Families,
We are officially entering in to the final stretches of 4th grade! This week we reviewed some strategies and tools to help stay calm and answer carefully on the MSTEP next week. Please encourage your child and remind them that they are prepared and ready for this test. They should think of it as an opportunity to show off all that they've learned this year!
Reminders-
Next week-MSTEP testing days-May 8, 9, 10
MSTEP breakfast-we will kick off all the hard work we've done in 4th grade and get ready to show off our knowledge with a big breakfast on Monday. If you are coming to help, please come by 9:30 to help prepare. If you are sending food items, please send them with your child in the morning.
Kirk Park Field Trip-We will take our 4th grade field trip on May 31 to Kirk Park in Holland. All parents are welcome to chaperone (they can follow the bus to the park or meet us there). More information will be coming home soon!
Early Release 1/2 Day-Next week, May 11. Students will be dismissed at 12:15
What we learned this week-
Reading-
I can explain the theme of my historical fiction book.
Writing-
I can craft poems with various poetic devices.
Math-
I can convert units of measurement.
Have a wonderful weekend!
-Mrs. Mutschler
