It was very nice to meet with each of you during conferences! I enjoyed celebrating your child's progress this year and also encouraging them to push themselves to their full potential the rest of the year. Please check mailboxes tonight for Unit 7 Math tests. Also, check out the questions below to keep up with the happenings in 4th grade! I have also included pictures from some exciting Science this week. What we learned this week-
Reading-
I can form norms for my book club.
I can notice the who, what where, when, and why (setting and world around the characters) in my historical fiction book.
Writing-
I can draft my informational book using various text structures.
Science-
I can explain how layers of rock for over time.
Math- Unit 7 math test is coming home today-please sign and return test next week.
I can measure angles.
I can name lines, line segments, points, and rays.
